Cross Country
Monday March 21st is our Cross Country.  When I receive a timetable I will inform via Twitter what time our class will be running.
 
Celebration of Learning
Wednesday 23rd of March is our Celebration of Learning evening from 6pm to 7pm in the classroom.  On this night you will have a checklist to complete with your child, so they can show you and explain this terms learning.  This night in NOT a time to meet with me and discuss how your child is going.  If you would like to do that please email me and we can arrange a suitable time to meet.
 

Monday:
·         Computer lab Mrs Davey.

Tuesday:
·         Library

Wednesday:
·         Music
·         PE.
·         Assembly 2:25pm-2:55pm.

Thursday:
·         Cultural Literacy today.

Friday:
·         Spelling test and new homework handed out.

Term 1 Week 6 Digital Literacy



DIGITAL LITERACY

Dear Parents,
Please be advised that students in Years 5 & 6 will be registering an account with Scratch to participate in learning activities during Digital Literacy lessons. Students will use their school email address to create an account.

PARENT CONSENT-
Parent consent will be assumed if I don’t hear from you.  If you DO NOT wish your child to sign up to this program, please email Mrs Davey directly: Jennifer.davey@bne.catholic.edu.au

What is Scratch?
Scratch is a free web based program devised by MIT University. Please see screen shots below for information from the website, or click directly on the link below to view the website for more information:

Here’s what the sign up will look like:

*Please note- students will not be using full names/school details in sign up.
All usernames and passwords will be recorded by the Digital Literacy teacher.
